Jivamukti Yoga

Jivamukti Yoga helps to make traditional methods of yoga a part of modern life, while not forgetting about the ancient and the main goal of yoga - liberation. We think "that it is possible to achieve liberation, even living in a modern city - in every corner of the planet. We believe that ancient knowledge and yoga techniques outlined in these texts as "Yoga Sutras" Patanjali, the Bhagavad-gita l "Hatha-Yoga-pradshgika" is still true, and they also inspire us today as it was 5,000 years ago. If you examine the yoga (including texts, chanting, asana and meditation), you will immediately feel that it is not something alien! separate from you. Do not say that it is not for you or that it is alien to your culture. To read the sacred texts or practice yoga, you do not have to be Hindu, although, of course, some familiarity with the history of Hinduism and Indian philosophy does not hurt. Hinduism is a religion based on the life style "Sanatana Dharma" ( "Universal Way"). It is based on the "four pillars": (1) vegetarianism; (2) recognition of karma (the law of cause and effect); (3) belief in reincarnation; (4) belief in the possibility of moksha (liberation from all kinds of suffering). True Hinduism includes all religions, because it recognizes that if you have a way of giving you the ability to move, then the right way -one becomes part of the general, universal way. Of course, in India there are a lot of religious, ethnic and class differences, but all of our travels we have learned it is this constant feeling of universality. Yoga-not a religion, but a school of practical philosophy. However, the methods of yoga is inextricably linked with Hinduism and evolved with the development of Hinduism liters of his schools of philosophy, yoga, Vedanta, sznkhya and Jainism and Buddhism, which originated in ancient India. They continue to grow together in our time - on the basis of a common language, the mythology of "basic doctrines, practices and beliefs.

Dynamic Yoga

You need not necessarily have a separate Meditation Room or fix some time for meditation. Close your eyes for a minute or two once in every two hours and think of God and His various Divine qualities such as mercy, love, joy, knowledge, purity, perfection, and so forth during work, and mentally repeat: “Hari Om,” or “Sri Ram,” or “Ram Ram,” or any other Mantra according to your taste. This should be done even during night whenever you happen to get up from bed to micturate or on any other account. Though you are not in the habit of getting up from sleep, you should do this practice at least occasionally when you slightly change your posture during sleep. This sort of habit will come only by repeated practice. Feel all along that the body is a moving temple of God, your office or business house is a big temple or Vrindavan, and all activities such as walking, eating, breathing, seeing, hearing, reading, etc., are offerings unto the Lord. Work is worship. Work is meditation, when done in the right spirit. Work for work’s sake without any motive without the idea of agency (I am the doer, I am the enjoyer), and without expectation of fruits. Feel that you are an instrument in the hands of God and that He works through your organs. Feel also that this world is a manifestation of the Lord or Visva Vrindavan and your children, wife, father, mother and other relations are the images or children of the Lord. See God in every face and in every object. If you develop this changed angle of vision and Divine Bhava by protracted and constant practice, all actions will become Puja or worship of the Lord. This is quite sufficient. You will have God-realisation soon. This is a dynamic Yoga. This is an easy Sadhana.

Integral yoga

All submitted still yoga schools were creations of ancient India. With the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo we enter the modern era. His yoga - a living example of what yoga tradition that has always been a high adaptability, continues to evolve to meet the changing cultural conditions. Integral Yoga is the only impressive attempt to convert / south, consistent with our current needs and opportunities. Trying to preserve the continuity of the tradition of Yoga, Sri Aurobindo tried to adapt yoga to the peculiar conditions Westernized world of our time. He did this on the basis of not only their European education, but also based on deep personal experience and experimentation in the spiritual life. He combined the rare qualities as the original philosopher, hook and mystics and saints. Aurobindo saw in all previous forms of yoga attempt to overcome the enslavement of the average person the outside world by means of detachment, austerity, meditation, breath control and a whole arsenal of other yogic tools. As I explained in the introduction, many of the traditional schools of yoga prefer an approach that can be roughly described as "vertikalizm": This way to the transcendental Reality, Spirit, I, or the Divine, which is understood as a stay in a certain sense is the material, around the world. Vertikalistskie yoga tend to rise above the ordinary life by increasing the focus of attention. In his remarkable work life divine Aurobindo says about previous yogas that their allocated "ascetic renunciation." This detachment was expressed in the gradual abandonment of ascetic material world as a result of overwhelming experiences supramundane dimensions of being, especially the wonderful scope of the Spirit. Such a negative attitude to the world lies in the Vedantic doctrine of illusionism, known as the Maya-vada. Mayan word refers to the unreality of the phenomenal world - a concept which means that the space itself illusory. This metaphysical axiom is usually combined with the idea that worldly existence is permeated by suffering, pain, anguish or sorrow, and therefore worthless. As a result, adhere to vertikalizm philosophers and sages have proposed various ways of having some form of external detachment.
