SWAN Yoga Goa, is run and managed by sannyasins trained at Bihar School of Yoga. We strive to work in the direction of providing a dogma free environment. Where everyone is welcome. The retreat is open from October till May. During this period we offer many different yoga retreats and packages for you to choose from. The Yoga Holiday and Vacations being our most popular ones. Sri Swami Vivekananda

Inspirer Swami VivekanandSwami Vivekananda (12 January 1863 – 4 July 1902), was a Hindu monk of highest spiritual realisation and chief disciple of the 19th-century Saint Sri Ramakrishna Paramhamsa. He was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world. He was the major force behind raising interfaith awareness in the west, Revival of Hinduism in India and bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion. He was the first person to give the concept of nationalism in colonial India, which became the driving force in freedom movement and was a hero to every freedom fighter.
He is perhaps best known for his speech which began with,”Sisters and brothers of America …” in which he introduced Hinduism at the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago in 1893. But if you really want to know his contribution to humanity, which is influencing the people to the core and creating world leaders. Sri Aurobindo,Rabindranath tagore,Romain Rolland,Max Muller(Philosopers). Mahatma Gandhi and Anni Besant (Social Reformers). Nikola Tesla, Helmholtz, Lord Kelvin and Jagdish Chandra Bose (Scientists). To name a few of his gems for the world. Sri Adi Shankaracharya

Inspirer Shri Adi Sankaracharya Born in the 8th Century AD Adi Shankaracharya is recognized to be the undisputed spiritual leader of India, and propagated the Advaita Vedanta philosophy which leads directly to the experience of higher life and spiritual experiences. During the course of his life, he established the Dashnami Sannyasa tradition in order to unify the various and diverse groups of Sannyasins, which were scattered throughout the country, under the banner of Sanatana Dharma.Dashnami Sannyasins still continue to convey his eternal message of the synthesis of all beliefs culminating in Advaita, the monistic vision of reality in which all things are understood, ultimately to lead to lightness of heart, which is the symptom of enlightenment.

We can offer ten rooms in two different houses. The original house is in a very traditional style. The rooms in the new house have a balcony, they are all individually decorated and spars as possible. The best atmosphere to find clarity. The rooms are very clean (european standard). . During the holiday, Sharangati Yogahaus Varkala Kerala will offer daily breakfast, tea and Kerala style lunch.
Surounded by many palmtrees, mangotrees, papaja and banana trees. You will find many privat and cozy corners in Sharangati Yogahaus Varkala Keralas spacious garden. Relax in hammocks, or the teahouse. The garden was planted by Hari, the owner over the last six years and is very natural and beautiful. Practice yoga and meditation or just be. Owner and teacher is Hari, who studied and lived in the Sivananda Ashrams in California, Canada and India, for more than three years. He was ordained as an Anagarika in the Abhayagiri monastery, where he lived and meditated for one year in the forest. His teachings clearly reflect his background in Buddhist meditation. He brings awareness and calmness to his yoga class. Residential students only, that brings a very clear and calm atmosphere to the place.
